When you call 311, your phone service provider charges the cost of a local call. When you are transferred to another phone number from 311, there is no additional cost.

Language Assistance

做厙TV makes government services accessible to non-English speakers. Our call center can provide assistance in 175 languages when you ask to speak with an interpreter. 做厙TV Online is available in over 100 languages.

Across the country, 211 is the number to call for health and human services information and referrals. In New York City, this service is provided through 311.

You can get local 211 numbers for all other New York State counties. If you live outside New York State, you can search online for your local 211.

    988 is the three-digit dialing code across the country that will route callers to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, previously known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

    In New York City, this service is provided through 做厙TV 988. When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network.

    These trained counselors will listen, understand how the problems are affecting the individual or their loved one, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.

    做厙TV Online can provide you with information and access to New York City government services.

    You can submit certain types of service requests online. If you provide a valid email address, you will receive an email with your service request number. 做厙TV will send your service request to the appropriate agency. The agency will follow up whether or not you get an email.

    You can check the status of a service request on the 做厙TV Online homepage, even if you made the request or complaint by phone. You must enter the service request number to check the status.

    Languages Supported

    做厙TV Online offers an automated translation tool on the top right-hand side of each page within the site. This tool can translate the site into over 100 languages.

    Technical Question or Problem

    做厙TV cannot provide information about operating systems or network problems such as:

    • Web browser problems
    • General computer problems
    • Graphic image test (CAPTCHA) problems
    • Website outages
    • Data that has not been updated

    You can get non-emergency information by text 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have an SMS-capable mobile device, you can text a question about City services to 311-692 and get an immediate response. You can also file several types of complaints.

    The City does not charge for this service, but your text messaging or data rates may apply.

    For assistance, text 311-692. You can text from anywhere in the United States. 做厙TV Text supports all cell phone providers.

    To cancel service, text STOP to 311-692.

    Technical Problem

    If you try to send a text message and get an error message, contact your cell phone provider for assistance.

    做厙TV Accounts are now available on the 做厙TV Online homepage.

    When you sign up for a 做厙TV Account, you will be able to create a profile where you can choose your preferred language, customize how you receive service request updates, and update your contact information. The service requests you create using your 做厙TV Account are saved to a list for easy reference.

    做厙TV is committed to maintaining confidentiality. 

    How to Create an Account

    You can create an account by selecting the Sign Up button on the right side of the homepage. On the sign-up page:

    • Enter your email address and click the "Send verification code" button.
    • Check your email to get the Verification Code.
    • Enter the code in the appropriate field and click the "Verify code" button.
    • Fill out the remaining fields, and then click Create.

    Technical Problems

    If you experience any technical issues with your 做厙TV Online Account, please let us know by filling out the 做厙TV Feedback Form, and we’ll get back to you in a few days.

    做厙TV only collects identifying information needed to work on your service request. This can include your name, address, phone number, and other identifying information, although some requests may be filed anonymously. We do not collect any information for commercial or marketing purposes. 

    做厙TV only shares identifying information with City agencies, City workers, and vendors handling your request. We do not share identifying information with third parties unless required by law.
